We are named finalists for the JEC Composites Innovation Awards 2025 in the category “Aerospace – Parts” with the Multifunctional Fuselage Demonstrator (MFFD) – the world’s largest thermoplastic aircraft structure. Our innovative CONTIjoin technology, developed at Fraunhofer IWS, enabled the manufacturing of the longitudinal joint for this real-size demonstrator. This breakthrough was achieved in collaboration with partners from industry and research under the European Union’s Clean Sky 2 campaign.
