According to user requirements, a single-sample measuring instrument for the fast, semi-quantitative evaluation of the adsorption properties and the surface functionality of functional samples (porous materials, catalysts,...)is to be developed. It has to be suitable for the measurement of adsorptive materials relevant to application technology and under realistic conditions. In addition, an activation concept and a self-contained measuring system will be integrated into the existing technology for sufficient sample pre-treatment and handling of moisture-sensitive samples.
